1. Base Hauling & Tonnage

• Standard Capacity: Our base rate includes the hauling and disposal of up to 1-ton (2,000 lbs) of debris.

• Tonnage Overage Fee: Any load exceeding the initial 1-ton limit will be billed at an additional $80 per ton (pro-rated).

• Heavy Materials: Loads consisting primarily of heavy materials like concrete, brick, dirt, or roofing shingles may reach the 1-ton limit quickly. We will provide a weight estimate before loading begins.

2. Specific Item Surcharges

Certain items require specialized disposal at Alabama facilities and incur additional fees:

• Tires: $50 per tire (Off-rim or On-rim).

• Batteries: $100 per lead-acid or automotive battery.

3. Prohibited & Hazardous Materials

For safety and environmental reasons, we cannot haul the following items:

• Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid a trip fee.

• Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the haul unless otherwise agreed upon in your signed contract.

• Do I need to be home for the pickup?
  While we prefer you to be present to confirm the items and finalize the weight estimate, we can often arrange for "curbside" pickups if the items are clearly marked and placed in a prominent, accessible area like a driveway.

• Why is there a $50 fee for tires and $100 for batteries?
  Alabama state regulations have strict rules regarding the disposal of scrap tires and lead-acid batteries. Facilities charge significant surcharges for these items because they require specialized recycling processes to prevent environmental contamination.

• How do you handle heavy construction debris like concrete or shingles?
  Because these materials are extremely dense, they reach our 1-ton limit quickly. We recommend placing these items in a separate pile so we can provide a more accurate weight estimate before loading begins.
